yeah! of course I do! I wouldnt have a sub if I didnt! :-)
It was in ish22 that I actually read about SoundFX and then downloaded the
version off the homepage. It seems like a pretty good program and fairly
fast but as others have said, the vmem does not appear to work too well :-/
I have 64megs mem on my system along with a Apollo060@66Mhz with
Mediator/Voodoo3. Anyway, I loaded one of the 40meg files in and tried
playing that (via the Soundblaster AHI drivers) and it played back great.
At the end of the recording there is the beginning of a advert which I
wanted to remove so I marked it out and selected erase and then got some
meory error :-/ - would be fantastic if VMem worked 100%..
I'll carry on playing with it anyway and see if I can get it to work. I had
a look for a demo version of Soundprobe but couldnt find one about anywhere
(is there one?)
I'll have a hunt for Samplitude now also and see if there is a demo version
of that also.
